My wife and I really enjoyed it here, such a lovely place, great plants and the view from Mrs Macquarie's Chair is amazing, I could have sat there most of the day. The best bits of the Gardens were the rainforest and the cactuses.

Absolutely wonderful, my mother and sister and myself really enjoyed our day here, it was the highlight of all the attractions we saw during out sojourn in Chicago. It was so interesting to see the different and rare native species, I never know that the Illinois landscape was so varied! The Japanese garden too was divine.

Very extensive biodomes with tropics, alpine and palm displays. Also a rose garden and children activities, really a great day for the family. It also has the Ulster museum (closed for refurbishments till later this year) as its crowning jewel.
