A stunning and picturesque little village, showcasing the other side of the algerve's charms, away from the beaches. The local springs are a particular highlight.

Charming little house, with very unusual architecture! It's pretty old and looks good, especially with its run-in with the 1755 earthquake!! Definitely go here!

I've been coming to Corfu for quite a few years but now I'm settled with a family i'm starting to favour the smaller resorts. This was the perfect place for us, beaches were close and the town was charming. The valley trail was perfect too for a small outing and the shell museum at the end really put the icing on the perfect holiday cake.

My boyfriend and I took a trip here on our holiday, when we were a bit grumpy and too sunburned to enjoy the beach, and it was just lovely. The marble church and the old houses were just the tonic, and the food at Trypas was delicious. Definitely something i'd recommend.

What a find! A quaint old village set in breathtaking surroundings, both my daughter and I were won over by its charms. The information centre is friendly and informative and we felt we'd really experienced traditional culture, a refreshing break from the more hectic parts of the island!
