While many people think of Chicago and pizza, that can only be because they never visited Smoque BBQ, which I think is one of the best BBQ joints that I have ever eaten at. While they have chicken, and ribs, my favorite has to be the brisket, as I have not found one quite as tasty anywhere else.

I stayed at The Silversmith Hotel for about 3 days while in Chicago. The location of the hotel is so good that it is just 5 minutes away from Millennium Park and about 10 minutes to the river. The manager at the front desk was friendly and quick with handling check in and check out processes. The decor of the room and the hotel, in general, was very good and attractive. The room was big and comfortable to stay in with good ventilation. The service and the facilities provided by the hotel was very good, which enabled me to have a good and relaxing stay.

There are many ways to see the Windy City, the best way I have found to see Chicago is the City Segway Tours. We traveled on the public streets to see the city’s top tourist attractions, and learn about them for our guide, plus learning how to use a Segway is a great experience, and loads of fun.

Chicago is an awesome city and as I soon found out, Hotel Monaco was just the right place to stay. The decor of the hotel and the rooms in general, is what impressed me instantly. The rooms were quite large and were well maintained by the housekeeping staff. The management was fantastic as they took every care to keep the guests comfortable. The location of the hotel perfect, with most of Chicago's attractions being close to it. Breakfast was lovely and so were the other guests of the hotel.

The ultimate pizzeria. Second best pizza i have ever had (Scotland being best). Not coming here while staying in Chicago is the equivalent of not visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris. A must see, affordable delicious dining experience. Family dining is fairly cheap even though the price of visiting Chicago is very expensive. If you are strictly a fan of New York style pizza, this is not going to the place for you. Bring an empty stomach with you.
