I love to get a bit active on holiday to make up for all the extra eating and I loved this uphill challenge and we sped up in 1 hr 5 mins!! The gondola back down is the perfect way to enjoy the rewards of your efforts.

Absolutely stunning views from the top here. I would advise doing it in the early morning before it gets too hot as it gets quite steep! Definitely worth making the effort.

What fun! I dragged my whole family here to walk up the seemingly nonstop hill. Ok so it wasn't that fun near the end, but it was great to get to the top! We rewarded ourselves with taking the gondola back down to the bottom and a nice evening meal.

It's what you think of when you imagine going to New York and it's really sweet to finally get up close to the lady. I knew she was tall, but really, she's HUGE! We climbed up to the top of the crown and were exhausted but exhilarated. RESERVE TICKETS IN ADVANCE, we spoke to quite a few disappointed people who'd wanted to go up but hadn't sorted it our beforehand.
