An exquisite building! Sky blue on the outside with a host of colours inside. We went in the afternoon when (as luck would have it) it's best for light coming through the stained glass windows.

A little slice of heaven! Cobalt blue and amazing architecture make this one of my favourite holiday sights ever.

I wasn't too impressed at having to start the day at the crack of dawn but I have to say the canyon is pretty special. Stunning colours, an amazing walk, it looks like Gaudi designed the shapes or something in some places! You really do want to go early, it gets hot and busy as the sun rises.

It's quite a long way north of sharm but if you're on an excursion you can just sleep til you arrive!

We decided to head out of Sharm for the day and see the natural sight of the coloured canyon. We went as part of a tour which was great as everything was arranged for us, and we even got taken to a Bedouin site too which was interesting and beautiful. The canyon is stunning, one of the best places i've ever been to and would recommend going to anyone who goes on holiday in Sharm El Sheikh.

This is like the garden of my dreams, great plants and fantastic colours, the 'majorelle' cobalt blue really makes the heart sing. The small museum is lovely too, but the garden is definitely the highlight.
