Homo Sapians Museum

While many people travel to Crete to visit the museums dealing with the area’s ancient history, I have found a museum that is a little bit different, and much more interesting, the Homo Sapians Museum. This museum deals with the struggles of man from the dawn of civilization to modern times, doing a good job of recreating the triumphs and tragedies that we have faced as a people along the way.

Lychnostatis Open Air Museum

Whenever I travel to a new city, I like to do my best to learn about their history, culture, and customs, and after speaking to the front desk of my hotel in Crete, I learned that the Lychnostatis Open Air Museum, was a great place to do that. Their exhibits take you on an audio and visual tour through the life of the people of Crete, and how it has changed through the years.

ATRION Hotel

I went to this hotel along with my friends. This is the perfect place to enjoy. This hotel is location of this hotel is nearer to the central town. We got excellent accommodation here. We liked the design of this hotel very much. We enjoyed with the services provided here. The rooms in this hotel are very spacious and are very clean. I like the free internet access available in each room. I definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Ferryman Taverna

There is no more special joy while traveling than sampling authentic local cuisine, as it is always tastier than any restaurants back at home. When visiting Crete, I found the Ferryman Taverna, which had some great and affordable dishes. It is also worth visiting due to the friendly staff that treats you as part of the family, and the amazing views of the Spinalonga.

Agia Galini

Agia Galini is one of the picturesque fishing village located in Crete. Package Tourism & overdevelopment have spoilt much of its original charm. Agia Galini has rather became claustrophobic due to hemmed in against the sea by large sandstone cliffs and phalanxes of hotels & domatia. It is one of the most loved beach resort tourist spot in southern Crete. It comes to live in the peak the season and provides a great atmosphere at night. By attracting middle-aged crowd and families it has become one of the most sedate resort.
