Wow. Totally unforgettable. We got the cruise from downtown across to Blake Island State Park and were greeted in fine style with amazing food plus tribal dances and stories. Supercool.

Wow. We went to a free performance on Saturday night at the Mausoleum of Al Ghouri in the Islamic Quarter and it was one of the most memorable holiday experiences ever!

So quaint and lovely here, it's most definitely the other side of the island and worth getting out of the resort for. Make sure not to miss the sunday morning folk music and dance, we saw it this time and loved it.

Such a great night out, we look forward to it every time we go to Benidorm. You never know quite what you'll get but are assured of an amazing show with uber-glam costumes and talented dancers. We like to have dinner and the show but I think you can also go just for the show.

Similar to traditional mardi gras, this festival was a portuguese import and now happens in february every year. I was so lucky to catch it, and it was a truly spectacular explosion of colour, music, costume, floats and dance, and everyone was so happy!
