Wonderful gallery featuring art, design and architecture, just what I love to experience when i'm on holiday. Love the whole collection, although I thought that the Novembergruppe exhibition was totally fascinating.

I'd been here about 12 years ago and whilst I'd been impressed with the collection, the place was lacking a certain something. Today though, with the stunning new building, it's all come together wonderfully. Great way to spend your morning.

If you want to take home a real bit of Berlin but can't quite stretch to a bit of wall then this design showroom is great. Loads of old-skool designs as well as innovative products to remind you of your holiday. Top buys are in the hip-hop design field, as well as eastern-bloc style sneakers.

This area is great for a wander about when you just want to see some cool things but not pay through the nose. There;s plenty of design boutiques, notably furniture, as well as some galleries which are nice to pop into. The food in the area is generally reasonably priced too.

As a fashion student I could barely contain my excitement before I went to the design and fashion museum! it was great, loads of fabulous clothes to look at and interestingly presented other items too. Great, would go back any day!
