My two boys are at the dinosaur stage and this place just fascinated them. Sue, the huge t-rex was the highlight but there's so much more to this museum than just dinosaurs, if you get the chance to look round!!

I wasn't sure about staying in Ayia Napa given its reputation, but in the low season it's really quite sedate and pretty, with the Marine Life Museum offering a good diversion for the kids, particularly the dinosaur sea bed!

My kids and I had such a fun time here! Their faces were amazing as they saw their favourite (and the ones they are most afraid of, you know which ones!) dinosaurs huge and moving looming over them! A great trip to make a nice change from the beach every day if they are getting a bit bored.

This is the coolest museum, especially for kids, since it is right in the middle of downtown Los Angeles and shows how the area was 10,000 to 40,000 years ago, during the last ice age. On this site are real fossils of extinct creatures that roamed the Los Angeles basin. It is a very interesting place, since you can't really imagine the dinosaur-type creatures roaming around. The Museum has life-size replicas of many of these animals. The museum is constantly finding new fossils and bones and has done carbon-14 dating to authenticate the age of many of these relics. This is highly recommended and very interesting.
