Vancouver Aquarium

There is so much to see, do and learn at this magnificent aquarium, my kids and I had such a great day out. The Beluga Whales were something I was really excited about seeing and I hope to do one of the whale encounters if we go back.

Butterfly Park

My children and I accompanied my husband on business and this was their favourite thing to do. Not only do you get to see lodas of different and beautiful butterflies around but the children can also learn about life cycles of the animals in the nursery areas, if they are lucky they might even see one hatching out of its chrysalis.

State House Tour

A great free activity for an afternoon in Boston. Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and include an overview of the history and architecture of the State Capitol.

Al Ahmadiya School

We took the children along to here expecting a museum about schools and whilst they were reasonably entertained we relly loved looking at the architecture of this really old school. The carving and panels adorning the simple building are quite lovely and to me shout typical middle eastern archirtecture from the time before Dubai just wanted to outdo other rich neighbours.

A great inter-active museum enjoyed as much by me as by my kids. Lovely place to learn about Bangkok, the traditions, the culture, the architecture and the history. I looked at the city with new eyes after and had a great time doing it!
