Newbridge House

What a grand residence! Small from the outside, it packs a punch with the interior, particularly the red drawing room! The kids will love the 'museum of curisoties' and the golden coach out in the stables, it's like something from a fairy tale!

We went to pick your own here as we were staying self catered and wanted to get out and about in the countryside, so this was the perfect combination. Lovely views over to Fife and the Firth of Fourth.

We went for a family day out here, at this mining theme park, and it was a beautiful place and really entertaining. The kids especially loved the animals but for me the stately home was great.

Really lovely and informative day out, and such a treat to see more of the protected interior. We got to ride donkeys and see the banana plantation as well as taking a walk around the area.

Mountain of Roses Olive Farm

Lovely place and such friendly people, you would not believe how good their olive oil tastes. I brought some back with me and it's a little taste of heaven every time I treat myself to some.
