One of the best things about Cape Town - loads of different flavours and toppings (and all low fat!). Can't beat it.
where, when, how, web
At waterfront, but also at various locations around town.

Pizzas in Rome are awesome! Each place is totally unique. Avoid the ones that are aimed at tourists and head down the back streets for the true, family-run local joints.
where, when, how, web
We just made our way from the Trevi Fountain and wandered down the smallest, least touristy looking streets we could find.

Don't leave Lisbon without trying one (and it takes amazing restraint to leave it at just one!). Portugal is famous for them, and Lisbon do them incredibly.
where, when, how, web
You can find them at almost any cafe and bakery in town.

Beautiful town to the east of Faro (most of the tourist resorts are to the west - this is much more authentic). It has lovely architecture and restaurants that are cheaper (but every bit as good) than to the west.
where, when, how, web
Drive for about 30-40 minutes east (towards Spain!) from Faro.

Amazing fish market right by the sea. The town's nothing much - lots of high rise and noise - but it's worth the trip for the stunning sea bass and massive Atlantic prawns.
where, when, how, web
It's about 20 minutes drive west of Faro
