Great resort, loads of other Brits, great food and a super fun atmosphere! The sand dunes are super sweet too, great for messing about on and one day we even hired little buggy things to go cruising about.

El Dahar Bazaar

Noise and smells abound here, it's a fully immersive experience and a lot of fun! Be prepared to barter and get stuck in, and don't forget it all has to go in your luggage for the trip home!!

Franklin Park Zoo

Great zoo, the variety and layout is excellent and the jeep-lion-viewing area was such a hit with the kids it became embarrassing when they wouldn't let anyone else use it!!

East Potomac Park

I flew out to visit friends in DC and was totally taken with this park, which juts out into the river so there's plenty of water to see and walk next to. We all skated around on our inlines and had a blast.
