Stunning collection of Chinese, Japanese and Korean antiquities shown off in a state-of-the-art building. Don't forget to go to the garden too, it was my wife's highlight of the day!

A world away from the busy streets in the city that never sleeps. This garden was my favourite part of the Snug Harbor Culture Centre which you can get to by carrying on the staten island ferry to the other side!

Wow, what an amazing place! Discovered by accident in 1955 it dates back to around 25AD which is astonishingly old! The pottery and artefacts found in the grave are also fully fascinating, I loved it here. Oooh don't forget to check out the garden too, it's blissful.

What a show! Totally unexpected things, playful yet serious make for a thoroughly entertaining time in Napoleon's gardens. Head to Venice before the Biennale is over if you possibly can!

We were staying near here so liked to come for a stroll in the greenery as often as possible. The outdoor amphitheatre even has shows sometimes, although we were more intersted in heading off to eat some delicious food I have to say!
