This old hammam is a lovely little spot to stop for a drink as it's set in a pretty little garden. Great architecture and what history!

AKA the lake gardens, this is a stunning area of Kuala Lumpur that seems to have been largely overlooked by other tourists! Stop by with lunch you won't regret it!

Such an interesting place! The show was so informative and we loved walking in the garden and the views from the ramparts. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be under seige here though. Oooh, don't miss the Camera Escura, it's a treat!

Absolutely beautiful gardens! A real treat, there's so much to see and so many greenhouses you can even go in the cold if you want because you get to spend so much time indoors.

Dubh Linn Gardens

Not a typo, but actually the real beginnings of the settlement, named after the dark pool from which the city got its name. The gardens are just behind the castle, but avoid at lunch time if it's a nice day as the office folk turn out in force!
