Really lovely gardens and a good selection fo animals form cute to quirky. I love penguins and it was easy just to sit and watch them for ages. And at the end of the day the bar was a good place to rest a bit before heading home!

Phoenix Park is the largest enclosed urban garden in Europe and sits just on the periphery of Dublin. The People's Gargen is worth a look as it has some lovely flower beds and the obelisk to the Duke of Wellington is the most famous landmark in the park. The Park was initially designed for hunting purposes and you can still find deer grazing in the grounds.

Admission to the Menara Gardens is free and whilst its hardly the most exciting spot in all of Marrakech, it is a very attractive place and a good place to cool off and calm down. There is a big lake in the middle of the gardens with a picturesque 19th century pavilion on the shore. You can't get in to the pavilion.

The Villa Borghese is a really grand old palace, and one of the finest in Rome. There is a great collection of classical and renaissance art here but the real highlight for me were the Borghese Gardens. Especially after a long day in the heat and bustle of a day in Rome, a rowing boat on the swan lake was a very enticing prospect.

The peace and serenity of this tomb was unexpected in the hustle and bustly of big city sightseeing! A precursor to the taj mahal, this tomb and gardens are beautiful, a definite must-see.
