A great free activity for an afternoon in Boston. Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and include an overview of the history and architecture of the State Capitol.

The Dublin Castle, is a 12th century castle that was primarily used for kings and queens, British rulers, Parliament, Courts of Justice and military garrisons. In modern times it became used for government offices and presidential inaugurations. The back side of the castle has a fabulous garden, including a stained glass fountain and a memorial to Veronica Guerin, who was assinated in 1996 for trying to bring down Dublin's crimeworld. Overall, this is a great place to visit if you're a history buff.

One of the most impressive architectural buildings in all of Berlin, and the sight of much of German’s history, both good and bad, is the Reichstag building. It still serves as the nation’s parliament, and tours are available, with varying degrees of access depending on whether or not it is in session.
