This is a really grand renaissance style building and a very beautiful celebration of Belfast's new found wealth. Perhaps more important though is a a wonderfully grumpy queen Victoria made out of marble staring down from a plinth outside the hall.

The Belfast Castle is Belfast's own Balmoral, replicating it closely in style. There are a few informative exhibits inside about the history of the castle.

The Old district feels utterly surreal nestled in amongst the modern engineering mastery of the rest of Dubai. Its like wondering out of Blade runner into the Arabian Nights
