Pinks Hot Dogs

We are not talking fine dining here, but it is a unique LA experience that anybody who has ever spent some time in LA has gone to Pinks. This place is even in commercials for Volvos as the couple frantically drive thru the city to get to... you guessed it....Pinks before it closes. Everything you ever thought possible is done to a hot dog here, and I venture to guess many things you never thought possible are done to hot dogs here. The chili bacon hot dog is sinfully good, but try to pay no attention to the sound of your arteries hardening as you scarf your dogs down. Be prepared to wait on line for an hour or more (no I am not kidding). When driving to the area grab any parking space you can find in a 10 block radius because every one in the area is there for Pinks. Eat outside at a picnic table if you can get one (there is no inside dining lol). Great place to bring the kiddies, and very inexpensive.

Hot Dog Heaven

This is an indoor-outdoor eatery where you can get the best hot dogs in Florida. This is a great place to go for lunch. Even though it can sometimes be crowded, your food is served up quick. I recommend the jumbo chili cheese dog, but there is a big variety to choose from. These dogs are simply delicious, and the place has an old fashion feel to it. Whenever I am in Orlando I stop by here because you can't get hot dogs like these just anywhere.

Pink's

Pink's is a famous hot dog stand in Los Angeles. The lines are long, but well worth it! While the hot dogs pop in your mouth, my favorite item are the onion rings. So good! Everyone in LA knows Pinks, so if you are visiting the area, definitely check it out.
