Real Palacio Hotel

A perfectly adequate hotel for a short break in Lisbon. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy with a good breakfast in the mornings. I would stay here again if I were returning to Lisbon.

Hotel 1000

There's nothing really to fault with this hotel. The service is fantastic, down to a champagne greeting from the concierge on arrival. The location is wonderful, near to a link train stop and a short walk to Pike Place Market. You also won't hear a peep from outside when you're in your room, the soundproofing is incredible.

Mayflower Park Hotel

This is apparently one of the last privately owned hotels in Seattle and it's really lovely and characterful. It's in the heart of the central shopping district and has really easy access to the monorail. The Food and service are wonderful, though a criticism would be of the wafer thin walls

Taj Land's End Hotel

posted by bcanham on 11 January 2011 at 11:25

I don't know if the name is a cynical attempt to cash in on the prestige of the Taj Palace Hotel but this is actually a pretty decent place to stay. Rooms, food and service are all great but the best recommendation for this place would have to be the swimming pool which is located in some stunning grounds with a waterfall and jacuzzi . After several days of exhausting travel, we really appreciated the opportunity of cooling off here.

Trident Nariman Point

This is a fantastic hotel and is really superbly located on Nariman Point meaning that the viewws out to sea from many of the rooms are quite breathtaking. The harbour lights at dusk are also really lovely. Our room was wood panelled throughout and everything about the service said 5 star to us.
