Asia Gardens Hotel

posted by kroadman on 16 November 2010 at 09:31

This is one to try if you're looking to splurge. It's the most expensive place in town but also probably the most luxurious and has more of a Caribbean resort feel to it compared to the rest of the accomodation in town which is made up of smaller hotels. The majority of the staff are Asian and there are some great Asian themed restaurants as well as a beautiful garden complete with waterfalls and swimming pools. If your budget can stretch to it, I'd highly recommend staying here.

Don Pancho Hotel

This is the perfect place to stay in Benidorm and has a very high reputation amongst both English and Spanish guests. It's in the Ricon area and is about 20 minutes from the main touristy area. This is actually perfect as it means you don't get overwhelmed by crowds. The customer service is top notch and there's a good level of English spoken by all the staff. I think all the rooms have views over Benidorm beach too.

Helios Bay Hotel

I wouldn't rave about Helios, but it was just what we needed, and the holiday was a bargain. There's a bus stop outside the hotel, which we made use of, and we loved the beaches at Coral bay, about ten minutes away.

Fort Aguada Beach Resort

This hotel MADE our holiday. We could not believe it when we arrived and saw how the hotel was built into the ramparts of a 16th Century fortress. Our room was exquisitely designed to a high standard and the food on offer was marvellous.

Homewood Suites

This has to be the best place to stay in Chicago. The interior is decorated with rich wood and leather upholstery and the rooms are very pleasant though hey don't feel overly precious. The best thing about this hotel really is the free buffet open to all guests between Monday and Thursday nights. There's also a great indoor pool from which you can get some great views of the surrounding city. The Homewood Suites are located in downtown Chicago across the road from Nordstrom department stores.
