Whenever I visit Chicago I like to go see a performance of Second City if there is one. They are one of the funniest performing groups in the country, and both the writing and the performers are amazing. I spent the entire two hours of the performance laughing, but the humor is adult oriented and you should not bring children there.

This is an extremely whimsical museum that displays satirical and comical art work from The New Frankfurt School, which is known as Germany's home for satirists. If you enjoy looking at art that has humorous twists, then make this museum a stop on your itinerary. This is not a stodgy museum. Come prepared to laugh out loud at the cartoons, statuary and displays that all revolve around the same themes. There is a lot of adult material here, so children under the age of 12 or 14 may not appreciate the work here. The museum has been in a new building since late last year. You will enjoy your visit and come away laughing. Which is a great way to end a tour!
