My friend and I decided we needed something a little different after travelling around the area for 3 months, so we took a lesson in indian dance, song and music. I can't say we were very good but we had soooo much fun!

Magnificent, I love the mixing of styles of indian and english, the building is just so grand, what a place to live! The dome is a majestic centrepiece and I was shocked when a guide told me that there wasn't a single piece of steel in the whole construction. Don't miss out on the gardens!

Little India

My friends and I had a day's stopover in KL on very little money so we decided to explore some of the markets and found little India. Delicious smells soon became tasty snacks and the vibrancy of the colours was amazing, I just wish I had an excuse for wearing a sari!

Gallery Chemould

Beautiful gallery, I love indian art work and the collection here is great, if a little quirky at times, as with all contemporary art galleries! My favourite was the exhibition of aditi's work, called let it be a heaven of blackened roses.

I know that curry in Italy might not sound like the right combination but i highly recommend this restaurant. Generous portions and a genuine taste. If only we could get Indian this good back home.
