What a fantastic place to go for the day! My boyfriend and I are self-confessed geeks and this was the highlight of our trip without a doubt! The Cinaxe, where your chairs move with the film, was the most awesome cinema experience EVER!!

We had such fun here at this museum, it's really interesting and there's so much to see and do it kept us (and the kids, but mostly us) occupied for most of the day! Loved the 'Earth Revealed' exhibit but the Fairy Castle stole the show for me I think.

This was the home and windmill of scientist and mathematician George Green. He built a wind powered mill that ground grain for the family bakery. It is now restored and a working windmill and very interesting.
