Wow. This was a feast for the eyes. The italina-style villa is pretty impresive and then you start looking at the art. Granted it's a little haphazard with a mix of styles everywhere but that's sort of part of the charm, and for a personal collection it's amazing. Really enjoyable since you never know what you might find next!

Every time I go to New York I seem to be drawn to the food and architecture of Little Italy, it's like I just can't stay away, and often end up travelling here for dinner even when i've not been in the area. I've tried loads of places and been pleased with them all, I don't like to recommend them though it seems like favouritism you'll just have to go and try for yourself!

While I love Indian food, sometimes when visiting India I do need something a little different to tempt my appetite. That is why I love visiting Trattoria, which has a nice selection of Italian food that, while not as good as Italy, or even New York, is sometimes a welcome change of pace. Even here though, you can easily taste the spices of India, especially in their signature pizza.

Gusto Restaurant is a pizza buffet that also has a menu of Italian selections. It is one of the few restaurants in the area that has a modern decor. It has separate lunch and dinner dining areas. The prices are a little high, but are justified by the quality of the service.

This is one of my favorite places to eat while in Boston. Although the city has hundreds of restaurants from which to choose, the Ivy Restaurant has something that is just a little different. It specializes in Italian-inspired "small plates" that are served family style, so when you go with your family, it is almost like eating in your own home (only with better food). I love the Potato Pancetta Risotto and the Grilled Asparagus, which I order as side dishes no matter what my main course may be. Prices are reasonable and the food and atmosphere are just great. It is definitely a place to put on your "to eat at" list while in Boston.
