This might be the coolest place i've ever been. My friend wanted a day's pampering so we ended up here, in this warehouse-cum-japanese oasis. We both had massages and japanese beauty therapy and felt like new, calmer people, ready for the next stop on our grand Australian tour.

My boyfriend is a sucker for anything Japanese so we loved it here, especially the sushi which was delicious. A beautiful place we enjoyed watching the world go by, as well as a wicked traditional dance show at the theatre. The Peace Plaza was perfect for a lazy afternoon reading in the sun too.

I love Teppanyaki style cooking, and so does the rest of my family, as we feel that it is not only an affordable meal but also great entertainment as well. When we were in Manchester, we really enjoyed Sapporo Teppanyaki. The chefs were amazing and very personable, and made the best volcano I have ever seen.

When vacationing in Brighton, my family decided to get a recommendation for lunch from a local, and they directed us to Pompoko, a small little Japanese restaurant. The food tasted great, and was very reasonable priced. The staff did a good job making suggestions, and even my picky kids loved it.
