Some of the oldest religious objects in Europe can be found at the Jewish Museum in Prague. The reason for this is because Adolph Hitler planned to build a museum in Prague that would be "a museum of an extinct race." You can see many of these artifacts in this museum. This is a museum for mature audiences, since some of the exhibits could be disturbing, especially a showcase of work by young artists interred at a concentration camp during WW-II. They never grew to adulthood and their art portrays their hauntingly sad view of their shortened life. Part of the tour is a visit to the Old Jewish Cemetery, which has more than 12,000 graves dating back to the 15th century.
