The Dublin Castle, is a 12th century castle that was primarily used for kings and queens, British rulers, Parliament, Courts of Justice and military garrisons. In modern times it became used for government offices and presidential inaugurations. The back side of the castle has a fabulous garden, including a stained glass fountain and a memorial to Veronica Guerin, who was assinated in 1996 for trying to bring down Dublin's crimeworld. Overall, this is a great place to visit if you're a history buff.

Nottingham, while well known for its Robin Hood tales, also has many other attractions for visitors to enjoy, and one of my favorites is the Galleries of Justice. This amazing museum has tons of interactive exhibits, and teaches about the English Judicial System in the 14th century. It was amazing to learn not only what has changed, but also what has stayed the same.
