I'd seen pictures but wasn't prepared for the scale of this temple! Huge reclining Buddha, beautiful grounds, it's the stuff exotic holidays are made for.

Governor's Island

Absolutely fantastic spot! The views of the skyline and the State of Liberty are amazing and it's the coolest place! You can only go on weekends though (fri-sun) so be sure to plan your itinerary. Get there early and you can snaffle a hammock!!

A wonderful spot, serene and informative. It's quite nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and this is just a lovely museum all round. I love the emboidery, the carpets...all of it!

Grand Prix

We went for the grand prix the other month becuase the montreal circuit is my favourite. I wasn't disappointed, even though the race was a little unorthodox, amazing place and we had a great time.
