The Rome Cavalieri is part of the Hilton Hotel Chains Waldorf Astoria collection. Which quite simply means a more luxurious historic type of hotel. The hotel is nestled in the hills of Rome. It is not near any of the historic sites, museums etc, which can be a very good thing. It is very nice to get away from the craziness that is Rome City and retreat after a days adventures to your hotel. The hotel has a world class spa and great restaurants. The views from the hotel are unbelievable because it looks down on Rome. If you want to be in the heart of the city this is not the place for you. While there are a few excellent Italian delis (that beat the hotel's restaurants in taste) down the hill there is nothing else in the area and walking back up the hill is quite the workout. The service and rooms are great. Dining in the hotel's restaurant is probably not the best idea. They charge super exorbitant prices and the food is only so so.

This hotel dominates the Dubai skyline. It is designed to represent a sail billowing in the wind as it rises out of the sea. The word opulent does not do this hotel justice. Everything is over the top. You check into the hotel in your guest suit (each room is a suite) and each hotel floor has its own receptionist to take care of your needs. The staff are wonderful and attentive to your every need. The rooms have Hermes amenities. Assawan Spa and Health club is breathtaking and offers the whole gamete of spa services. There are great restaurants in the hotel as well. One of the restaurants the Al Mahara has the worlds tallest aquarium in it so you feel like you are dining at the bottom of the sea. The food is outstanding! This is not a hotel for the budget conscience person. Be prepared to pay, but well worth it for the experience.
