This is a famous market and its reputation is not at all unfounded - the fabrics here are amazing and I got so much to make into new clothes and to decorate my house.

I love markets, all the hubbub and dealing. This was a really great one, really vibrant and fun with loads of things to choose from so I got a lot of souvenirs!

Monday is market day here so either steer clear of the madness or go and seek out your souvenirs for bargain prices. There's clothes, shoes, all manner of leather goods, jewellery, spices and even rugs if you're feeling good about hand luggage!

I read about this place in Time Out and had to go and check it out. There are so many awesome little stalls here and some of the designers here are going to be BIG i'm sure. A total gem.

We always holiday self-catering so we can get our hands on all the local produce and this was the best place that we found. A great market with pretty good prices, and delicious stuff!
