We had such a wicked time shopping in the markets, although we were hesitant about hanggling at first. But if you do it with some humour and a smile it can actually be quite fun.

This is the most buzzing part of Mumbai for me, where you can find market stalls, bars and plenty of places to stay. As well as of course a lot of street food. Wicked area, you have to stay here when you go to Mumbai.

I think most tourists just rush off to a resort on the coast and don't dive it another thought but the town of Dalaman is a great place to stop into. Tea gardens, cool buildings and some lovely markets are just waiting!

I adore souks and these are pretty spectacular as they go! So much to see and smell (not all great admittedly) it's just a fascinating melting pot.

Don't go to the newer chinatowns, head to the "old" chinatown. Here the atmosphere is great, it's bustling, there are shops and markets and some amazing food. We went here several times as we were staying around the corner and didn't have a bad meal!
