Armley Mills

posted by ashleyhotmama on 3 July 2009 at 22:15

This history museum is an outstanding example of a 16th-century mill that was prevalent in Northern England at that time. Take a trip into Leed's industrial past watching the waterwheels and steam engines in working order. It charts the processes of clothing production and has a restored 1920s cinema. Once the world's largest woolen mill, this fun and educational museum can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Definately a place to go if you're into how life used to be.
