a fascinating place charting the history and study of something close to everyone's heart...money. I particularly enjoyed the early forms of money, when just about anything precious worked. My man couldn't get enough of the bank crimes section!

If your children are magpies like mine then this is a great place to go. With plenty of history about this old bank to keep us entertained and shiny money-related things for them we passed a good while here exploring all the exhibits.

One of the coolest places to visit when touring Washington, DC is the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. It is at this location that much of the nation’s paper currency is printing, and there is a tour that shows the process, in a ride through vehicle. It is both educational, and fun.
