I've been to Montreal a few times and been impressed with the architecture and sculpture here, so it was a real treat to go here and see its evolution and some of the finest examples too.

What an interesting place! Lavish building, very imposing indeed and somewhat at odds with the hippy vibe of most of the city.

What a wonderful and sad place. The memorial is very thought provoking, and I really appreciate the way that genocide in all its forms is also covered. Not great for young kids. Book in advance, tickets are free.

Larnaca is an interesting place with a rich and long history, and there's no better place to get a sense of that than here. We really ejoyed our afternoon in this museum looking at the archaeological finds from the area.

I wasn't sure about staying in Ayia Napa given its reputation, but in the low season it's really quite sedate and pretty, with the Marine Life Museum offering a good diversion for the kids, particularly the dinosaur sea bed!
