Majorelle Gardens

This is like the garden of my dreams, great plants and fantastic colours, the 'majorelle' cobalt blue really makes the heart sing. The small museum is lovely too, but the garden is definitely the highlight.

Dar si Said Museum

Such a wonderful museum, housing all manner of things showing the arts, crafts and culture of the Berber people. And it's housed in a stunning palace which is an extra treat. Highlights include Moorish furniture and the elaborate door and window frames.

Maramaris Castle and Museum

Lovely place to go for a wander, especially if you've hit upon a bad day's weather or you fancy a break. The Museum contains an unbelievable array of artefacts. The castle itself is gorgeous and if you can pop back in the night time to see the great views then too.

Almond Valley Heritage Centre

Such a peaceful place to go, and the farm is lovely with its watermill and great mix of animals. And if you want to explore further there's all sorts of stuff, go karts, trampolines, a railway and museum too!

Museum Van Loon

If you're anything like me then taking a peek into people's houses is high up on your list of good pastimes, particuarly when visiting somewhere new. This is a great chance to see inside a typical, although not typically decorated, canal house. Beautiful place, really gorgeous, I could move in!
