If, like me, you fell in love with the surreal dystopia of Bulgakov's The Master and the Margarita, the Bulgakov House is a must see. It houses the writer's vast collection and lots of his possessions with displays about his life.

Given how iconic Ducati is in Italy, I couldn't resist visiting this museum on a rainy day. The museum houses displays chronicling the 80 year history of the company. It has many beautiful motorbikes from the 50 years of the company's racing bike production. Entrance to the museum is free.

A very old house/palace which houses a collection of local arts, especially berber. It only costs 10MAD and is really interesting and gives you a good perspective on the local arts and crafts. The opening hours are a bit qwirky so check first. You can go into the outdoor courtyards as well as the rooms.

Pretty much a must see for anyone visiting Houston, this is a really great day out and if you're old enough to remember the lunar landings, especially significant. The mission control centre was a highlight for me but there are also some really interesting exhibits on life in a shuttle as well as lots of interactive learning for kids.
