At 2 hours from Bangkok it is a bit of a trek but my boyfriend and I loved the place. We hired bikes and explored ancient thailand at the world's largest outdoor museum. Simply mind-blowing collection of things and i learned sooo much!

Small romantic restaurant that serves amazing Greek food. Is quiet early but gets busy later in the night. Go there on a nice night - the outdoor garden seating is lovely. They also have a great list of Greek wines, something you don't see everywhere.

This is the fastest of fast food places. It has been around forever and now they have indoor locations in places like Universal Studios... but the original Tommy's is an outdoor establishment in East LA where you order and get your burger in less than a minute - and stand up at a counter to eat the tasty but messy chili burger. Unless you get behind someone who hasn't been there before and then it might take a little longer. They don't have much patience for the newbies - when I was last there they skipped the person who didn't order in time, and he had a heck of a time getting his food! Hilarious! You go for the food and the city "atmosphere".
