We went here thinking we were seeing the original super-opulent palace, but this is just a rebuild. Still, it's quite nice to look around for a bit although calling it "like the Alhambra" is a bit of a stretch.

We went here for a day trip which included the Minoan palace nearby, lunch in the charming town and then an afternoon on the beach and everyone had a great time.

Wow, what an impressive building! So much to see, we were glad we'd bought a great guide book that told us so many details and things to look out for, but we also saw some people on a guided tour which might also be a good way to dig a little deeper.

Amazing place this palace-cum-dungeons, with a fiery history! Be sure to speak to a guide to get the whole picture! Wonderful old buildings too, Paris seems really great at holding on to its heritage.

This once Arab then Spanish palace is an impressive and imposing building. Make time to chill out in the beautiful S'Hort des Rei Gardens around the palace too.
