I've never been so extraordinay in my life! This is a vast desert preserve dotted with lush areas teeming with palm trees and life thanks to the life giving water from the San Andreas fault. Wonderful and memorable day out.

The nickname of "the valley of 1000 palms" is spot on here, they are everywhere!! We had such a lovely and relaxing holiday here in the rural centre of the island. Bliss.

Lovely spot with palm trees fringing the beach and a wonderfully calm sea so you don't mind the kids having a bit of freedom, which lets you relax too.

Pure holiday heaven (just don't forget your flip-flops, the sand gets hot!). This is an amazing beach with black volcanic sand and palm trees. A totally relaxed feel, beautiful water and lovely people. I could live here!!

Our whole family just adored this park. Palm trees abound as do comfortable places to sit. We boated on the lake and walked around and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
