The Piramides of Guimar also known as Ethnographic Park is located in the town of Guimar, Tenerife. The park which is spread over an area of 60,000 metres has attracted the investment of Rs. Six million Euros. It has now became one of the most favorite site for the tourists & residents of the island. The Park has its own bus service for picking up the tourists from the south of the island. As the Piramides of Guimar has the similarity with that of Sicily, Mexico, Mesopotamia, Polinesia and Peru, it has induced Heyerdahl. Heyerdahl is a renowned for his transoceanic voyages using vessels of prehistoric and for his theories concerning human migration. So he came over here & study the structures at the site itself.
