Camel Park

The play area in this area is a brilliant place to take the kids. There is a bouncy castle, playground with slides and a good resturant (which kept my husband and I happy!) which provided us with a base to sit and read while the kids exhausted themselves!

If your kids are bored of the beach but you don't really want to take them anywhere far then this is the place to go as there's plenty to keep them occupied whilst you sit back and relax a bit.

Lagos Zoo

Small but great day out for the whole family. The petting zoo was great and as always the primates were a big hit! The feeding times were great fun and the kids enjoyed mixing with the others on the playgrounds too.

Home Farm Temple Newsam

This is a working farm with live animals and a playground. You can tour the tudor mansion from the 1500s. It is a great day out in the spring or summer.

Castle Hill

If you are looking to get a panoramic view of the French Riviera, I have found no spots more beautiful than Castle Hill in Nice. Once you get to the top, although it is 100 steps, there is a small playground, some great stone works, and one of the most spectacular views you will ever see.
