This is my favourite part of Antalya with loads of quirky streets packed with shops and small cafes etc. You can find almost anything you want here I think!!

We were sailing around NZ and we had to stop in Auckland for about a week and we absolutely loved it here. The days area calm and relaxing and the nights are quirky with plenty of entertainment.

My girlfriend and I spent a lovely afternoon wandering about this island looking at all the shops they have there (ok, she was) and the highlight for me was the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. Great.

Self-proclamied as a 'republic', Fremont is a bustling haven of quirky shops and cafes and has a great vibe, totally different from the majority of the city. I loved hanging out here, and met several people who i've kept in contact with afterwards. Watch out for the statue of Lenin too!

This is a totally mental modern art space in an industrial setting. When I went there was some mad installation with video bits and music all playing over each other, but i like it that their aim is to stop everyine thinking the same, and it really does make your mind think!
