Billy's Bar & Taverna

When traveling to a new city, I always like to try to get the recommendations of locals in order to find the best restaurants. During my first trip to Corfu, a tour guide suggested we try Billy’s Bar & Taverna, and it has to have been one of the best suggestions that I have ever gotten. The food is simply amazing, and the service is great.

Taberna de la Palma

Spanish tapas makes a great meal, because you can sample lots of different kinds of dishes, which totals up to a full portion of food. In Majorca Palma, my favorite Tapas restaurant is Taberna de la Boveda. My wife’s favorite Tapas dish is the tuna, and she thinks everyone should try it.

Market Lane

There are many great pubs in County Cork, Ireland, but my favorite place for authentic Irish cuisine while visiting the city has to be Market Lane. While they are usually very full, that just means that the service and the food are just that good. Anyone traveling to Cork should dine here.

The Cannery

The only place to go for a great seafood dinner in Vancouver is The Cannery. Located right on the city’s waterfront, it has the freshest seafood you would ever want to experience in a funky atmosphere. There is even a nice selection of non seafood dishes for those people who are allergic.

Alexis 4 Seasons

Greek cuisine is some of my favorite because of the wonderful spices they use, which add flavor to the food without being too hot. A perfect example of this is my favorite restaurant in Athens, the Alexis 4 Seasons. In addition to great Greek cooking, there is also friendly service, and a great wine list.
