Ferry Trip

Last time we went to Gumbet the people staying next to us went to Rhodes for the day and we were so jealous that we decided to take a tour this time. Such fun! A lovely trip on the open sea, and then a great day in Greece before heading back. Really memorable!

Nireas

On my last cruise to Rhodes, my family discovered an amazing restaurant called Nireas. Located in the old walled city, we discovered it when a very insistent maitre de convinced us to have lunch there. While they have all kinds of Greek food, their specialty is seafood, and they have some of the best and freshest we have ever tried in Greece.

Hotel Africa

Hotel Africa is one of the hotels in Rhodes that I just stumbled upon during my search, over the internet. I decided to give it a try. On arriving there, I was welcomed by the front desk manager who later as it turned out, was one of the most helpful people in the hotel. The staffs were excellent and very supportive of their manager. Located very close to the beach, it provided for an ideal location for me. The view from the hotel room was a very worthy sight with the ocean clearly visible. Food was enjoyable, though it could have more options. Overall, a good stay and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Ambrosia Restaurant

Ambrosia may be the nectar of the Gods, but at the Ambrosia Restaurant in Rhodes can be described as the food of the Gods. They have an incredibly friendly and attentive staff and some of the best tasting Greek cuisine that I have ever eaten, and the slouvaki was incredible. The perfect way to end the evening at the Ambrosia Restaurant is with some ouzo.

Lydia Hotel

Lydia Hotel is the one the best hotels in Rhodes. It is located in the centre of the city nearer to the city centre hotel. In this hotel they provide an excellent room service for the customers. Here we have a nice bar and restaurant. We can get the nice meals in this restaurant. They provide the wireless internet facility for the customer’s convenience and also they provide free parking facility for the people coming to the hotel. I enjoyed a lot here with my family.
