Gorgeous spot, just ripe for a little bit of greek mythology! We went to this lovely beach and had a swim in the sea on our way over from Paphos to Limassol for a couple of days. Heavenly.

We were lucky enough to get this lovely beach pretty much when it was deserted so we could just enjoy the beauty, have a dip in the sea and eat our delicious picnic. Lovely place, whether you believe all the nonsense about gods or not.

I guess this trip isn't one for those who want to mostly sunbathe, since it's a good hour's drive away north of Benidorm but the town of Calpe is great and the rock and park are really lovely. i've not tried scaling the outside though, seems like too much hard work for a holiday when you can just use the tunnel and emerge to stunning views.

The Commodore is on of Vancouver's most notable rock and roll venues. Many of rocks big names have graced the stage and they always have great indie and rock artists on the bill. Both times I've seen a show here I've had a great experience- it's a great place to see a show if your in Vancouver. Check the website for upcoming shows.

The chain restaurant comes to Sharm el Sheikh. This location has pretty good American food (burgers, fries) but is a little overpriced. The entertainment is mostly waiters singing songs from musicals and is really kind of cheesy. I like this place in a kitschy kind of way though. It is always pretty busy and full of interesting characters. Overpriced drinks.
