When I visited Majorca, the staff at the hotel suggested that I take the family to see the Palau de l’Almudaina, which is still the official private residence of members of Spain’s Royal Family. I enjoyed the tour, seeing the splendor of the palace, and was interested to learn that there has been a palace of some sort on this ground since the Arabs invaded Spain.

This is both a historical building and monument, and a working royal residence. It is an amazing place to view the past and the present. The gardens are beautiful as well.

The Buckingham Palace is a must see place for anyone touring London. I loved watching the changing of the guards. The ceremony is quite a spectacle in this modern age of casual values. My children were mesmerized. The Palace is the royal residence when they are in town.
