My parents dragged me here with them, they are all about the ruins but I have to say I wasn't impressed. The odeon in Paphos itself was much better, here I just walked about.

(aka Forty Columns) This was the kids' holiday highlight! The ruined castle is a great place to play on and with dungeons and a tower still there you can get a great idea of the place, or alternatively use them for a great game of hide and seek!

I would have loved to see this in its full glory, I can only imagine the grandeur since it's still pretty unbelievable semi-ruined! It seems practically hewn out of the rock and is in a marvellous location.

The name of the place, the beauty, and the mayan ruins right there too, just an amazing spot. We were so lucky that our hotel was nice and close to it.

We took a trip out to Alcudia to see these Roman ruins which are in a lovely setting. Not all that much to see but fascinating to try and piece it all together.
