We took a trip out here for the day when we were on holiday in Barcelona and it was amazing. Spectacular scenery at every turn and a stunning monastery. Arrive by cable car, it's really awesome!

Four Passes Route

My boyf and I hired a car for a couple of days and headed off on two trips. The specialised vineyard tour was fun but this one was so much better. Astonishing vistas as you go through 4 mountain passes, and make sure you stop off at the gourmet-heaven that is Franschhoek too, you've gotta eat!

Escondido Falls

We needed a break from the urban scene so we went to seek out this waterfall. Beautiful scenery leads to it so it's a real treat to make the walk, and then the waterfall is lovely. Not much water in May but i'm sure if you go nearer to winter it might get really impressive!!

Blue Cruise

This is the colloquial name for taking a boat trip along this stunning coastline and I'm a fan! We took the Twelve Islands cruise and the scenery is just spectacular and we were even lucky enough to get off the boat and spend a couple of hours snorkelling too.

Dubai Creek

A great place to excape the madness that seems to be Dubai! I love its fakery but sometimes it gets too much and then i'm glad that I can go here to chill in the beautiful surroundings.
