We went to this seaside resort for a couple of days after we had had our fill of sightseeing in Athens and it was a delightful spot. Lovely weather and beautiful views.

Jet Skiing

Totally rocking! I'd always thought that jet skis were just an annoyance when you were trying to sunbathe with their noises, but when you get on one your opinion totally changes it's SO MUCH FUN.

Absolutely stunning spot with the marina, the coastline and plenty of places to park yourself for a long and relaxing picnic lunch.

I love the seaside and it was great to learn more about the connection between fishermen and the sea here in this lovely town. Don't forget to walk along the promenade and see the city walls if you go here as well.

Temple of Poseidon

About an hour's drive from Athens you'll find a great place, the ruins of the Poseidon Temple in Sounion. We were up there for the sunset and it was stunning, you really feel history at times like that.
